Wynelle Tabor Coskey, 96, passed away on June 1, 2021.
Funeral services are planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Chapel of the Hills, 201 El Coronado Ave, Buchanan Dam, TX. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Hills just prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m.
Burial to take place following the service at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas.
Wynelle was born in Iago, Texas on March 29, 1925 to L.P. “Doc” and Lydia Tabor. She attended and graduated Boling High School in Boling, Texas.
She was married to Johnnie Coskey in 1948. As a proud and loving homemaker she and Johnnie raised two children, Carol Hearn and Bill Coskey at their home in Houston, TX. Wynelle was an expert in many crafts: sewing, knitting, quilting, and crocheting. Her family will cherish much of her crafts and handiwork. Wynelle was also a member of many extension and craft clubs. She and Johnnie loved to travel and did so extensively. She was a member of the Chapel of the Hills Church, loving and serving the Lord faithfully her entire life. At 96 years old, Wynelle is the last of her generation of brothers, sisters, in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Johnnie Coskey; her mother, father, brother and sister.
Wynelle is survived by her children, Carol Hearn and husband Allen, of Mulberry Florida and Bill Coskey, and his wife Hulda of The Hills, Texas; five grandchildren, Camille Ott, Andrew Hearn, Luke Hearn, Michelle Fitzgerald and her husband Sean, and Jeffrey Coskey and his wife Heidi; five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Wynelle’s memory to the Salvation Army-Austin Metro Area Command.
