Willie Jo Anderson, 82, passed away on January 1, 2024.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at East Lake Fellowship Church, officiated by Pastor Russell Steele, 13218 Ranch Rd 2341, Burnet, TX 78611, with burial to follow at Post Mountain Cemetery, Burnet, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Barney Baker, Brock Brandenburg, Lucas Brandenburg, Delean Hazlewood, Jim Holmes, Randy Singleton, Taylor Wagner, and Eric Woodrum.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, at the church prior to the service.

Willie Jo was born on March 1, 1941, in Wichita County, Texas to Thomas Lowell Woods and Josephine Verily Griffin Woods.  She graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1958 and obtained her Beauty License through Jacks School of Beauty in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Willie Jo owned and operated The Hairsmith at the Bonanza Beach Subdivision for over 46 years. She was a member of the East Lake Fellowship Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #425, Valley Lodge, where she served for many years in numerous roles, including a year as Worthy Matron.

Willie Jo loved sewing and baking, as well as serving in her church and serving those in need.  Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the times she could love on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Anderson; parents, Lowell and Jo Woods; brother, Thomas Lowell Woods, Jr; and great grandson, Declan Fisk.

She is survived by her sister, Sande Powell; children, Les Hunter and his wife Angella of Lafayette, LA, Deborah Borsos of Hot Springs, AR, and Randy Chafin and his wife Teresa of Burnet, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Fisk (Geno), Logan Borsos, William Borsos (Kylie), Dillon Chafin (Tori), Cameron Chafin (Meagan), Ashton Cyprien, Tiffany Little, and Tony Hunter as well as ten great grandchildren.

If you want to see her again, then find Jesus!  She will be waiting with him on the other side.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The East Lake Fellowship Church Arrangements under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
