William "Bill" Frazier Roy, Jr.

William “Bill” Frazier Roy, Jr., 82, passed away on July 21, 2024, at Changing Seasons Assisted Living in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.  

Bill’s funeral service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at Jenkins Funeral Home, 109 N. Main Burnet, Texas. Officiating will be Stacey D. Nobles.  Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, Texas.  Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Jenkins Funeral Home.

Bill was born on June 12, 1942, to William Frazier Roy Sr. and Ruby Pauline Roy. Bill’s father, U. S. Army SFC Roy, served in World War II, and Korea.

Bill attended and graduated from Copperas Cove High School.

He proudly served in the United States of America with the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.  Bill married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Roy on November 10, 1961, and they were married for 54 happy years.  Bill worked in sales with Rylander’s Grocery, M&M Mars, and Sell-Through Services.  Upon retirement he worked for Ace Hardware in Kingsland as well as Lowe’s Home Improvement in San Antonio.  He and Pat were members of the Llano Cowboy Church.

Bill loved hunting, fishing, landscaping, spending time with family and friends, watching his grandson play baseball, and watching his granddaughter cheer.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Roy and his brother, John Roy.

He is survived by his son William Roy III “Bill” and daughter in law, Regina Roy; grandchildren, Caden Roy, and Kylie Roy; sister, Cindy Carroll; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
