William Edward Wright

William Edward “Sonny” Wright, 82, passed away on January 26, 2021.

A graveside service is planned for 12:30 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas.  A visitation is planned just prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday January 30, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home.

Sonny was born on November 8, 1938 to Clyde and Willie Lee Wright in Anson, Texas.  He loved vacationing with his wife Kirby, the beach and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Kirby Owens Wright and his parents, Clyde Thomas and Willie Lee Wright.

Sonny is survived by his daughter, Crystal Wright; Son, Denzal Wright and his wife Kristi; grandsons, Kasey Wright and Kolby Wright; granddaughter, Madison Wright; Sister, Melba Jean Varner; and niece, Teresa Derickson.

Arrangements under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
