Tom W Bryson, 93, went home to his heavenly Father on January 16, 2024.
Tom was born in Norton, TX to Tom and Faye Bryson on January 24, 1930. He was married to wife Betty for 71 ½ years. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army Reserves. After his military service, Tom had a successful career as a cotton gin and grain elevator manager. He was named Cotton Ginner of the Year, for the state of Texas in 1978. After retirement from the cotton and grain business, he owned and operated Bryson Marine at Lake Buchanan for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and just about any water sport, as well as working in his shop and helping others with their repair needs. He loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Betty, parents, Faye Bryson Harding and Tom W. Bryson Sr., who died three weeks before he was born. Also, by his step father, Louis Harding and sister, Jane Frederick.
He is survived by three children, Dan Bryson and wife Kay, Kathey Wallace, and Terry Bryson and wife Cindy. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Scott (Molly), Natalie (Mark), Doug (Crystal), Katie (Robert), Lindsey (Jason) and Cassie (David); fourteen great grandchildren, Katie, Tyler, Jessie, Ava, Aubrey, Bryce, Noelle, Lila, Layla, Jack, Ally, Shiloh, Noah, Eden, and nieces, Bonnie (Rick), Denise (Robert), Tammye (Dale); nephews Bruce and Jim Frederick and their families.
His kind and loving heart will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
