Timothy Kavanaugh Cook was born on February 9,1953 in Selma, Alabama and passed away on October19,2023 in Killeen, TX

Tim, as he preferred to be called, married Elizabeth “Beth” Ann on Jun 6,1981. They spent 42 years happily married and lived most of those year in Libert Hill, TX. He was a father to 2children, Tiffany Lynn Evers ,43, of Burnet, and Christopher Kavanaugh Cook, 41, of Coppers Cove.

Tim worked as a security guard most of his adult life and was long time employe of Seton Medica Center. He semi-retired and continue to do security in the Austin area until April 2023.

Tim enjoyed all things history. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about history from the civil war to the battle at the Alamo. He enjoyed watching old west movies, especially ones that starred John Wayne.

Tim was an amazing “PawPaw” to his 7 grandchildren, Justi Evers ,25, of Burnet, Tara Calhoun, 24, of Kingsland, Micah Evers, 18, of Burnet, Zachary Ramirez, 16, of Wilmington, Sandi Lou Cook, 14, of Copperas Cove, Ryder Cook , 13, of Copperas Cove, Natalie Cook, 9, of Copperas Cove and Jett Cantrel, 5, of Copperas Cove. Not only was he a loving grandfather, but he was also a great grandfather “Great PawPaw” as they called him to 5 as well, Ellie Calhoun, Jayston Evers, Brantlee Calhoun, and Jayce Evers.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard Rex and Betteye Ann Cook; his brothers-in-law, Patrick Gosset, and Ed Jones, sister-in-law, Janie Rollins; and brother-in-law, Grady Rollins.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cook; son Christopher Cook; daughter Tiffany Evers; Son-in-law, Devin Evers; grandchildren Justin and Katlee Evers, Christopher and Tara Calhoun, Micah Evers, Zachary Ramirez, Sandi Cook, Ryder Cook, Natalie Cook, Jett Cantrell; sister, Vicki Jones and Julie Gossett; brother, Mark Cook, as well as great grandsons, Jayston Evers and Brantlee Calhoun; great granddaughters, Ellie Calhoun, and Jayce Evers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he cared for dearly.

Tim will be cremated and have his ashes spread in several locations.  Tim was a dedicated Cowboys fan win or lose and will have his ashes spread at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, as well as other historical places.
