Thomas A. Price

Thomas A. Price Jr., 89, passed away on May 19, 2020.

A funeral service is planned for 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.

Thomas was born on May 2, 1931 to Thomas A. and Mamie Marie Price in Georgetown, Texas.

Upon graduation from High School, proudly served his country with the U. S. Navy.  On March 27, 1953 he married the love of his life, Tommie Jean “Jeannie” and together they raised 5 daughters.  He had several career in his lifetime including working construction with Brown and Root, owning a trucking company and a beef jerky distributing business in the Burnet area. After retiring, Thomas and Jeannie loved to travel, especially on cruises and in their RV across the United States and into Alaska.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. Price Sr and Mamie Marie Stone Price and his brother, Neal Price as well as many other loved family members.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 67 years, Tommie Jen “Jeannie “ Price; daughters, Donna Price, Cynthia Russell (Doug), Brenda Gresham (Kim), Glenda Carroll (Eddie), Sandra Price and a very special friend, Cheryl Zajicek; grandchildren, John Watson, Chris Cornelius, Lori Ramirez, Melissa Wills, Jaime Mora, Jason Carroll, Brandy Sheffield, Kimberly Bridges, Keith Carroll, and Tisha Menke; he is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and o1 great great grandson; sisters, Pat Joseph, Carol Roberts and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be: John Watson, Derek Watson, Chris Cornelius, Keith Carroll, Conner Carroll, Tanner Wagner.
