Terry D. Grizzard of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 12, 2024. He entered into God's Kingdom at a young age of 50. He was born October 14, 1973 in Guntersville, Alabama to Rolie Grizzard and Elisa Evans.
He is survived by his wife of only 2 1/2 years, Jainie, whom he loved and admired profoundly. He leaves behind his three beautiful adult daughters that he absolutely adored, Katlyn Elizabeth of Granite Shoals, and the twins Rebecca Jo and Hannah May of San Antonio. Father; Rolie Grizzard (Connie) of Granite Shoals; stepbrother, Daniel and stepsister, Carolee of Dallas; and his ever faithful "big baby", Luna the German Shepherd; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Elisa Evans of Huntsville, Alabama.
Terry absolutely loved listening to music, Metallica being one of his top favorite bands. There was never a time where you wouldn't catch him singing along to songs. His wife was always amazed how he can sing along to any music that comes on the radio and not miss a line.
Terry also loved riding his jeep and his love for the outdoors. He spent every summer at the beach with his wife and his German Shepherd at Port Aransas, camping and just doing "Jeep things". He also took his girls one summer to Hidden Falls Adventure Park to go mudding and do more "Jeep things". He also spends any time he and his wife can get to go hang out at Lake Buchanan, The Slab or even at the Lakeside Park downtown. Terry was a happy-go lucky man.
Our family would like to express our eternal gratitude to all our family and friends for their love and support. We also would like to thank the staff of Granite Mesa Health Care Center, where his wife works, for their unparalleled assistance during this difficult time.
As Terry's wishes, he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a future date.
