Steven Earl Francis

Steven Earl Francis, 73, passed away on September 5, 2024 in Granite Shoals, Texas.

Steve was born on April 15, 1951, in Quanah, Texas to Kenneth Morgan Francis and Edna Florene Burnam Francis.

He graduated from Quanah High School with the class of 1969.  Steve was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.  He enjoyed music, craftsmanship, creative writing, athleticism, magic tricks, ice cold sweet hydration, and most of all his family.  Steve’s primary focus in life was the well-being, and enjoyment of every member of his family, and will continue to be as he watches over them.  He never gave up on becoming a cowboy.

Steve, gone too soon, is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister-in-law.  He is survived by his wife, Yolonda June Carpenter Francis; six children, twenty-three grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, one brother-in- law, and one sister-in-law.
