Sherri Lynn McClendon

Sherri Lynn McClendon, 62, passed away on August 10, 2022.

Graveside Services are planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Liberty Hill Cemetery Pavilion, 16101 TX-29, Liberty Hill, TX 78642.  Officiating will be Joshua Miller of Acts Church, Leander.

Sherri was born on April 21, 1960, to H. Slaton and Annie D. Stephens in San Antonio, Texas.

Sherri loved all things that had to do with crafts; from scrapbooking to oil paintings, sewing flower girl dresses to making the most intricate hand stitched quilts for her children, nieces, friends' babies & grandchildren.  There was no project too big for her to take on, and she loved sharing her many talents and gifts with everyone. There was no place she would rather be than knee deep in fabric swatches brainstorming on what colors to use on her next quilt while watching old movies on a Saturday morning. She loved attending church service, especially to sing along with the band. Her generosity and selflessness never ceased when it came to her family & her Christian faith was unwavering.

Survived by Daughters Kathleen K. Hargrove and Patricia Henna, son-in-law Aaron Hargrove, sister Lea Stephens Sandoz, 4 grandchildren Grey, Nora, Aubrey, & Evan, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and others family members.

After service, please join us in celebrating Sherri at the Hargrove residence, 108 Oak Hill Dr. Liberty Hill, TX 78642, with food and fellowship to enjoy.  All are welcome to bring your swimsuit and a change of clothes.
