Sharon Lee Stockman

Sharon L. Stockman, 72, passed away on May 14, 2025.

Sharon was born on September 22, 1952 in Lampasas, Texas to Orville and Jo Nell Stockman.  Sharon attended East Texas State where she received a Bachelor of Science.  She married Ronny Amidon and together they raised their children, Heide, Lucas, and Lauren.  Sharon worked for many years with M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in medical research, of which she retired several years ago.  She is a member of Naruna Baptist Church.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Ronny; as well as her parents.

She is survived by her children, Heide Jackson, Lucas Amidon, and Lauren Jackson-Weaver; brothers, Durward Stockman, and James Stockman.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
