Scott William Black; 39, went home to his Savior on August 8, 2020.
Scott was born on October 26, 1980 to William (Bill) DeBoy and Linda Nagy DeBoy in Jamestown,NY.
Scott loved being outdoors, animals, his family, the 49ers and was a man of great faith. He had no children of his own but deeply loved being an Uncle, proudly wearing that title since he was eight years old. Scott had a great sense of humor and silly laugh that infected all those around him. An infamous tightwad, he spared no expense for those he loved and was generous with gifts, his time and talents.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Bill DeBoy and mother, Linda Black; Paternal Grandparents, Joseph and Ruth (Brandt) DeBoy, his Maternal Grandparents Lewis and Wilma (Fuller) Nagy; his sister Terri Lynn (DeBoy) Pool; his Paternal Aunt, Gerri Ainsworth; and his Maternal uncle James Nagy.
Left to cherish his memory are his Sister Helen Futrell (Jan) of Odessa ;Brother Christopher DeBoy (Samantha) of Odessa; Sister Desra Layman (Jonathan) of Stuart, Virginia, Nephews; Timothy, Jordan, Nathan, Robert, Jaden, Ronald, Aereon, Harley and Bryce. Nieces; Janice, Faith, Hannah, and Adelyn. Scott had two great nephews; Jensen and Jett and a great niece, Sophia. He is also mourned by numerous family members and friends as well as a special woman who was like a Mother to him after he lost his; Annika Tobar.
Services will be held privately in his sister's home in Odessa for family and his closest friends.
