Samuel "Sam" P. Justice

Samuel Preston Justice, born April 11, 1935, left this life on April 10, 2023 one day short of his 88th birthday. 

Sam’s father was Preston Justice and mother, Mary Kunselman Justice.  He was born at Porter TWP, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.  He had one sister, Kathrine Justice Weakland and one brother that died at an early age.

Sam’s family moved from Pennsylvania a couple a years after he was born to Powell Wyoming where he lived out his childhood.  He served in the U. S. Navy in flight training, and during that time he was stationed in Corpus Christi where he met the love of his life, Anna Mae.  They were married on September 1, 1962.  After Sam served his tour in the Navy, he took a job with a geological survey company.  After that he was hired at Texas Instruments and moved to Garland, Texas where he worked until retired.

Sam and Anna moved to Bertram, Texas where there was some family land.  They lived there until November of 2021 when circumstances brought them to Burnet.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Mae Knox Justice of Burnet; niece, Joyce Kler of Wyoming; four great nephews, Spencer Kler of Catulla, TX, Jessis of Mills, Wyoming, Casey of Casper Wyoming, ad Sammy of Mills, Wyoming.
