Ronnie Hunziker, 76, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026,

Ronnie was born on July 28, 1950, in Burnet, Texas, to L.B. Hunziker and Della Hunziker. He married the love of his life, Lorraine “Ruth” Fry Hunziker, and together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, building a life in Burnet.

In his younger years, Ronnie enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing with family and making memories with his friends, the Hernandez family, where they shared a love of raising and fighting game roosters. He cherished the simple moments in life and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Della Hunziker; his beloved younger brother, Timothy Edward Hunziker; and his grandmother, Nora Bell.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 58 years, Ruth Hunziker; his children, Laura Daniels and Ricky Daniels, and Katina Cole and Mike Cole.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Ashley Taylor and Zachary Taylor, Ethan Daniels, Bailey Cole, and Andrew Cole.

His greatest joy was his growing family of great-grandchildren: Alexander Morrison, Ashton Morrison, Ayden Taylor, Adelynn Taylor, Austyn Taylor, Autumn Taylor, and Abigail Daniels. Each one held a special place in his heart.

Ronnie will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless memories he created over the years. His legacy will live on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched.

Though he will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that love never ends, and the memories they shared with Ronnie will remain in their hearts forever.

Dads memorial service is going to be Saturday August 15th at 1:00 at the Hoover Valley Church
