In Loving Memory of Ronald Lee Floyd 

Ronald Lee Floyd, 74, of Bertram, TX, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on February 2, 1952 in Bertram, TX. Ronnie was the first child of four children to Charlie (Duvor) and Donella Floyd. Ronnie graduated from Bertram in 1970 and worked at Ranchers Feed and Supply until 1972 when he began his electrical career with LCRA/PEC until his retirement in 2007.

Ronnie will be remembered for service to the Bertram Community. He served on the Bertram City Council, Bertram 4-H Club Leader, Burnet County Livestock Board of Directors. Was an active member of The Bertram Lions Club, he volunteered with the Oatmeal Festival, and was very active in the Bertram Little League Association for many years. He was passionate about helping the youth of the community through all of these organizations. He especially loved Hunting and fishing. He went on many trips with his dad and brothers, and later with his kids and grandkids. He also put together some company trips with his coworkers and friends. He enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and if you ever played long enough with him he would tell exactly what you had in you hand. Ronnie was big on get togethers no matter the occasion he just loved to visit and have fun. Ronnie did enjoy traveling and had many cross country road trips with his family. Ronnie was an animal lover and very seldom did you see him out and about without one of his dogs. 

He is survived by his wife Wanda of 54 years. His children Ronnie and Michelle Floyd, Keri Jo and Brian Piper and Nancy and Brent Post. His Grandchildren, Nolan Floyd, Kaygen and Logan Edwards, Ashton Floyd and fiance Jordan VanDevender. Bailey Post and Georgia Piper. Great Granddaughter Weslynn Edwards. His sister Jand Ard and husband Larry, Brothers Terry Floyd and wife Nancy, Tim Floyd and late wife Rita. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Lee Floyd and Donella Watson Floyd.

Visitation Service will be held at Jenkins Funeral home on July 29, 2026 from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Jenkins Funeral Home on July 30,  2026 at 10 am.

Burial will be at South San Gabriel Cemetery.

Ronnie's family would like to express our appreciation for the kindness and care to Ascension Home Health and New Century Hospice staff, care givers and volunteers during the time that they cared for Ronnie.
