Robert H. Smith

Robert H. Smith Sr., 82, passed away on March 8, 2022.

A Celebration of Life is to be held on March 26, 2022 at 2 pm at their home.

Robert was born on February 7,1940 to Harry E. and Audrey Hahn Smith in Burnet, Texas.  He attended Burnet High School and upon graduation served his country for 4 years in the U. S. Navy.  He married the love of his life, Shirley, and together they raised their family in Burnet where he worked as a mechanic for 30 years with Fry Motors.

Robert loved golfing, hunting, and to BBQ at home for family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry E. Smith and Audrey Hahn Smith; sister, DeLyse Malant.

Survivors include, wife of 54 years, Shirley Stark Smith, children, Bobette Lindsey (Bubba), Sherryl Neagle (Mark), and Robert Smith Jr (Val); grandchildren, Bridget Longoria (Tony), Douglas Maxwell (Alyssa), Kyleigh Jackson (Nathan Cooper), Cody Maxwell (Ashley), Robert “Trey” Smith, and Kenny Smith; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Cheatham (Larry), and brother, Kenneth Smith (Josie).
