Richard "Rick" Arthur Cox Jr. went to be with our Lord on March 5, 2021, at the age of 64 after a brave and valiant battle with Cancer.

Born in Ventura, California to Richard "Art" Cox and Elaine Cox on March 13, 1956. Rick graduated from Ventura High School in 1974 and soon after graduation, he began his career in offshore drilling. He took pride in his job and quickly became known as "Redarick" by his coworkers at Schlumberger and in the oilfield community throughout the country. He married his High School Sweetheart, Glenda Reynolds, on November 11, 2011.

His interests included attending car shows with his children, camping with family and playing "Birds".

He spent the majority of his life in Ventura, Ca and eventually retired to Burnet, Tx.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Cox of Burnet, Tx; son Kyle Arthur Cox of Baltimore, MD; daughter Jennifer Rae Cox of Ventura, Ca; Stepdaughter Ashley Graf , her husband Stephen and their son Brennen of Georgetown, Tx; sister Karen and her husband Mike Skall; brother Lawrence Cox and his wife Lisa. He is preceded in passing by his parents Richard "Art" Cox and Elaine Cox.

He will be interred at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet, Tx. Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at 11:11am April 11, 2021 at Post Mountain Cemetery.
