Richard James Hay

Richard James Hay, 93, passed away on January 11, 2025. Graveside services are to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass, Texas.

Richard was born on July 17, 1931 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Richard and Katherine Hay.  Richard worked as a salesman and a resale shop owner.  Additionally, he was a member of the Lions Club of League City, Texas. He loved vintage and collectable cars, westerns, but most of all his family.  He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and was loved by the community.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife Mary Hay, and his daughter, Helen Kross.

He is survived by his son, Wesley Hoog; daughters, Lee Ann “Pixie” Hay, Kaylyn Hay, and Alicia Hoog.
