Raymond L. Keasler Jr. born on June 3, 1960 in Lake Charles, LA. a devoted man of God, loving husband, cherished father and grandfather, faithful Pastor, and dear friend, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2026, at the age of 65.
He is survived by his parents Mary and Raymond Sr. Keasler of Jefferson, TX. Sister: Kathy Keasler of Fort Worth, TX. His loving wife Cricket Keasler, Children: Chris(Georgia) Smith of Wylie, TX, Tristian Keasler of Marble Falls, TX, Trey(Ryan) Keasler of Marble Falls, TX, Kersh(Ashley) Keasler of Monticello, Ar. and Eight Grandchildren: Shaylea, Brody, Corbyn, Case, Wyatt, Henry, Ashton and Benjamin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Victor(Agnes) Keasler Jr., Elbert(Gladys) Walters.
Ray graduated from Denton High School in 1978. Shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force at the age of 18. During his four years of service, he worked as a mechanic and served as a crew chief on the remarkable F-15A Eagle aircraft. His time in the military reflected his dedication, skill, and strong sense of duty.
He was married to the love of his life, Cricket, for 47 beautiful years. Their marriage was a testimony of commitment, faith, and enduring love. Together, they built a family rooted in strong values, compassion, and devotion to Christ. Ray was a proud and loving father and “Gpa,” always present with wisdom, encouragement, and a warm heart. His family was his greatest joy, and he poured into each generation with guidance, laughter, and unconditional love.
He was a local business owner of KO Kollision, Ray’s Radical Rides and Ray’s Garage. He had a burning passion for classic cars, race cars and motorcycles. His knowledge was always called upon from near and far. The scent of race fuel or the rubble of a radical motor always made him turn his head. His motto was “Enough is Good, More is Better, and Too Much is Just Right!”
Ray and his beloved wife also brought joy to countless lives in the Marble Falls community by serving as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, spreading cheer, love, and laughter to children and families year after year. He further gave back to his community by umpiring many local baseball games, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
As a Pastor, Ray started Abundant Heart Church in 2011, and faithfully served his congregation and community for 15 years touching thousands of lives. He had a gift for bringing people closer to God, offering hope in difficult times, and reminding others of the power of faith. His legacy is one of ministry, kindness, and a life fully surrendered to the Lord.
Ray will be remembered as a man of integrity, strength, humility, and deep compassion. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a pastor, and a friend to many—and he filled each role with grace and purpose.Though he is deeply missed, his family and all who knew him find peace and comfort in knowing he is now in the loving presence of his Savior.
