Ramona Estelle Lyda

Ramona E. (Lewis) Lyda passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 after a prolonged illness. Ramona loved her family first of course, but her other joys in life were sewing and quilting, yard work, running the tractor & shredder, and (like her father) - burning a good brush pile.  She worked side by side with Clyde in their air conditioning business, ranching, etc.  and could handle any task thrown her way, be it bookkeeping, secretarial, or outdoor work.

Ramona was married to Clyde Andrew Lyda for 68 years and 1 week. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Carroll Lewis & Christina (Hall) Lewis, & her brother Gene Lewis.

Ramona is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, her husband Clyde, her four children, daughter Gina Hanhart and her husband Elmer, son Roy Lyda and his partner Barbara DeHart, daughter Robin Zimmerman and her fiancee Jimmy Moore, and son Andy Lyda and wife Tisha.  She is also survived by 3 grandchildren - Cecilia Ettinger and husband Bubba, Erich Hanhart and wife Abigael, and Ethan Lyda, as well as 4 great grandchildren Aubri Ettinger, Stetson Lyda, Tucker Lyda, and Reiner Hanhart. She is also survived by her brother, Calvin Lewis and his wife Doris, her sister in law Billie Lewis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later undetermined date.
