Phillip Thompson

Phillip A Thompson, 65, passed away on April 22, 2023.

A Celebration of Life is planned for 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023, at East Lake Buchanan Community Center, 101 CR 128 Burnet, Texas 78611.

Phillip was born on August 25, 1957, in LaPorte, IN to Norman and Mary Knapp Thompson.  He attended Kishwaukee College and retired as a Horticulturist.  Phillip loved fishing, gardening, and woodworking.  He also loved music and singing, especially 70’s, 80’s, Blues, and Rock and Roll.

He is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Mary Thompson and siblings Beth Mann, Tim Thompson, and Donna Thompson.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Margie Thompson; children, Josh Thompson and wife Leah, Mary Rusche and husband Chris, and Lea Thompson; grandchild, Dakota Rusche; Sister, Susan Thompson; niece, Kris Foster with husband Jeb; nephews Nate Mann and wife Susan, Marc Mann and wife Lark.
