Misty Sue Jackson

Misty Sue Jackson, 46, of Granite Shoals, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2023.

Born March 21, 1977, in Burnet Texas to Robert Wade Jackson and Minnie Lou “Candy” (Kring) Jackson. 

Although having no children of her own, Misty’s passion was taking care of children. She helped raise many “kids”, and treated every child as if they were her own. She would never fail to make someone laugh or be there to help anyone in need. She had the kindest of hearts and a caring soul, often times putting others before herself.
Misty was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and dear friend to many. She loved to be with family, sharing laughs and enjoying the little things. She loved to go to the sand drag races with her family and spend her days with her “kids”.
She was proceeded in death by her father Robert Jackson, sister Pattie Jackson, and uncles Dwight Jackson and Willie Wall.
Misty is survived by her mother Candy Jackson, brother James Jackson, her “kids” Alisha, Rachel, Mercedes, Morgan, Miranda, and Mariah. As well as many cousins, aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, and many more children that she treated as her own. Her smile will be forever missed. 

A Memorial Service for Misty will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 @ 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Granite Shoals.  Following the service everyone is invited to the church fellowship room for a meal.
