Milton Ross Nevill passed away on March 7, 2021 in Wharton, Texas. Milton was born September 16, 1931 in Grimes County, Texas to Ross and Lavada (Rice) Nevill. Milton had five brothers and sisters…Lucille, Artie Mae, Mary, Nolen, and Arvil. Milton grew up in the piney woods of east Texas and attended schools in Madison County.
Milton and his lifelong friend Dane Harris left the Madison/Grimes County area together to join the military. The Korean war was on and Dane went in the Army and Milton went in the Navy. Milton said Dane could not swim so he chose a different branch of the services. Milton and Dane remained friends and kept in touch for over eighty years till Dane’s passing in January 2020.
On May 25, 1956 Milton married Carol J Janosky. They had two sons, Milton Ronald and Ross Edward. Ron was born In Brazoria County, Texas and Eddie was born in Tarrant County, Texas. Ron has one son, Zachary, and lives in Houston. Eddie passed November, 2018 in Brazoria County, Texas.
In July 1983 Milton married Donnie L Ferguson. They moved to Highland Haven in 1985 and lived on Bluebird Circle till Donnie’s death in October 2002. He enjoyed being on lake LBJ and was very active in civic activities for Burnet County and the city of Highland Haven. In 2010 he met and married Mrs. Lorraine Alley Myers. They enjoyed traveling and lived a wonderful life together till her recent passing April 2020. They were members of the Highland Lakes United Methodist Church of Buchanan Dam, Burnet County.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, 8303 Ranch Road 1431, Buchanan Dam, TX 78609 https://highlandlakesumc.org/
Interment will be at the Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas on Saturday, March 135th, 2021 at 3:00 PM the afternoon following the service.
