Mary Sue Hornsby

Mary Sue Hornsby, 77, passed away on June 6, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Post Mountain Cemetery, Burnet, Texas.

Mary was born in Waco, Texas on September 27, 1942 to George Kemp and Lois B.  Baker.

She grew up in Burnet and graduated Burnet High School. On February 21, 1963 she married her loving husband Neil and together they raised three children.

She was known throughout the community from her work with the Herman Brown Library in Burnet where she retired after many years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Neil Hornsby; daughter, Judith Hornsby; and two son, James “Jim” Hornsby and Kris Hornsby; grandchildren, Haily, Chase, and Kristin.
