Maggie Marie (Tumlinson) Feild

Maggie Marie Feild, 89, passed away on June 24, 2021.

A Celebration of Life is planned for 9:30 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, which would have been her 90th birthday, at Collins Rustic Ranch in Lake Victor. Dress casually.  Sharing memories of Maggie will be welcomed. 

Maggie was born on August 7, 1931 to Marion and Leta Tumlinson in Burnet, Texas.

She started school in Lake Victor and graduated from Burnet High School in 1949.  She married the love of her life Jack and together they raised their two children, Judy Westphal, and Jim Feild.

She and Jack enjoyed many fishing trips and fish fries.  She loved shopping, eating out as often as she could, and spending time with her grandkids, great grandkids, family and friends.  She touched many lives and will be greatly missed. 

Maggie was a member of the Oatmeal Church of Christ and loved the Lord.  She was also an active member of the Lake Victor Extension Education Association for 63 years.  She was known as a good leader and helper.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Jack Feild, and son, Jim Feild.

Maggie is survived by her daughter, Judy Westphal and husband Larry; grandson Lee Westphal and wife Kristina; granddaughter, Deidre Ray and husband Joe; great grandchildren, Abby Westphal, Luke Westphal, Evan Ray, and Andie Ray; sisters, Charles Glenda Ferguson and Leta Green and husband Glenn, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Maggie’s memory to Cherokee Children’s Home, Arms of Hope in Medina, the Oatmeal Church Building Fund, or the charity of your choice. Give someone a hug and tell them how much you love them.
