Lucio Cruz "Big Roy" Atkinson, 74, of Marble Falls, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 surrounded by his family.

A memorial service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Marble Falls.  Burial will be at Marble Falls Cemetery, Marble Falls, TX.

He was born on September 14, 1947, in Rio Hondo, Texas to Gilbert and Cruz Atkinson. Lucio was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Marble Falls, Texas. Lucio is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Cruz and one brother. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters.

Lucio is survived by his wife, Janie, children, Lucio "Little Roy" Atkinson, Monica and husband Charlie Flores, Amelia and husband Albert Valdez, Bill and wife Lisa Atkinson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gregory, Drake and wife Emily, Brailey and fiancé Chase, Austin, Dominik, Samuel, Jacob, Gabriel, Thomas, Mikaela and Charly, his best friend Alvin Hernandez (Grumpy #2) as well as his two pets, Apollo and Funny.

Lucio was a loving husband, father, and papa. He loved spending time with his family, friends, pets...and truck. He had the natural gift of carpentry and was an avid golfer. He was a man who knew no stranger...and although he isn't here today, we can still hear him say,
"Love You Bud".
