Bertram and Burnet were home where Nathan was working in carpentry and later, he worked in the casting field. They moved to Lubbock, TX where he was a mechanic. Nathan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed the quiet of country life with “D”. He had a servant’s heart and would do anything for you. He also had a strong opinion about many things and would gladly share those opinions. The family remembers Press Fry (Nathan’s Daddy) teaching them many things from the bible and how they all enjoyed this. Learning character in this way from the bible was repeatedly and fondly mentioned by all. Having a servant’s heart is a major way that Nathan will be remembered.
