Our beautiful Jessica Kaye Sprouse, the life and heart of the party and of our family, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at the age of 40 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Jessica was born on April 19, 1981 in Ogden, Utah to John and Kaye Sprouse.
Memorial services for Jessica will be held Saturday November 6th 2021 10AM at 495 S. Greenfield Rd. Gilbert Arizona 85234
Jessica was a fierce friend and family member who was incredibly charming and witty. She was always quick with a joke, had an infectious smile and personality, and never failed to give a compliment and lift others. She knew no stranger. She loved people but she lived for her family. Her Mom was her dearest friend and confidant. Their bond was and will always be unbreakable. In most pictures, you will see her with her arm around someone, in that infamous embrace that she had. As much as she was full of life, she was full of love and never seemed to hold back on showing it.
Jessica lived in Mesa, Arizona for 32 years before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, where she resided with her son Carson for 6 years. She recently moved to Texas for a new job where she fell in love with the big sky and the friendly people.
Jessica was a dedicated and hard worker. She began working at the age of 16 and quickly moved up to managerial positions. Because of her dedication she won numerous awards in the catering world and served in various leadership positions including several leadership positions on the board of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE). She was known as a “hospitality legend” and was cherished by her coworkers.
Jessica is survived by her beloved son and only child Carson Robert Sprouse. Her Mother, Kaye Holmes Sprouse; Father, John Sprouse (Pam); Sister, Kelsie Webster (Adam); Brothers, Kyle John Sprouse (Jamie), Jordan Jay Sprouse, and Carter Nehmer. As well as her nephews and nieces: Benson, McKay, Perry, Hunter, Nelson, Annie, Avery and Beau, whom she absolutely cherished. Her Grandparents, Melva Richens and Clifford and Renee Holmes, whom all reside in Eden, Utah. And her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her deeply.
What can we say about the great Lost who brought our family so much joy? Only that our world has changed forever. It can never be what it was. It is absolutely less - and yet permanently, perfectly, more because what you have given us, Jess. You taught us how to love deeply, to cherish and bring laughter to every day, and how to key your ex’s car and get away with it. Thank you. We love you. We will see you again.
