Janice Somers Erskine

Janice Somers Erskine, 91, passed away on February 17, 2026, in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

A Celebration of Life is planned for 11:30 a.m., February 21, 2026, at Quail Point Lodge, 107 Twilight Ln, Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Janice was born on October 5, 1934 to James Britton Somers and Wilie Doris Eaker.  She worked for DOW Chemicals for over 30 years and enjoyed her retirement in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Erskine Benson; son, James Mark Erskine and his wife, Jennifer Marie Erskine; grandchildren, Michael Benson, Emily Schultz, Brooke Finn, Erin Cotten, Alley Torres, Adele Solar, and Rockford (Tre) Solar III; five great grandchildren, and her long-time friend and partner, Bob Balfour.
