Janice Christian

Janice Christian, 66, of Bertram Texas, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2023.

 For Janice, family was everything. Janice's two boys became her best friends in life and her single most important and favorite accomplishment.  Nothing else came close. Janice's grandchildren were her most treasured source of joy, and her devotion to her beloved parents was unmatched. Although their time together was cut short, Janice found great love and hope with her husband Charles. Janice's family will cherish her generous spirit, exuberant personality, animated wit, and dedication to family, close friends, and to the Fighting Texas Aggies.

Janice was preceded in death by Charles Christian (husband), T.D. Tanksley, Jr. (father), Margaret McAndrew Tanksley (mother), and Spencer Tanksley (brother).

Janice is survived by her two sons, Josh (Samantha) Bishop, Jake (August) Bishop, her grandchildren, Peyton Bishop, Kade Bishop, Bailey Hatfield, and Olivia Bishop, her sister, Patricia (Larry) Boleman, her stepsons Jon (Kelly) Bishop and Wade (Erika) Bishop, her step-grandchildren Carlee (Ryan) Gafford, Camryn Bishop, Kyle Bishop, Bella Bishop, Jax Bishop and Kingston Bishop and her step-great grandchild Ronan Gafford.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 14th at 10am at the Mt. Zion Cemetery of Bertram. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charitable organization of one's choice.
