George Bryant Obituary

George W. Bryant, 76, passed away on May 10, 2020.

George was born on September 26, 1943 in Portsmouth, VA to Allen G and Angline Bryant. He proudly served his country with the U. S. Air Force from May, 14,1964 until May 13, 1968. He served in the Vietnam War from November 15, 1966 to November 15, 1967. He was decorated with the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star, Airforce Good conduct Award, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.

He married the love of his life, Sandra Kay Bryant and together they raised one daughter. He worked as a computer analyst with Scientific Systems, Xerox, and NearStar.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Bryant; daughter, Kelly G. Bolinger and her husband, Eric; brothers, Allen G. Bryant Jr and his wife Debbie, and Bobby Bryant and his wife Betty.

The family requests memorials be made in Georges honor to the Semper Fi fund at semperfi.org.
