Elain Thurman, 76, passed away on March 8, 2024. 

A Memorial Service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024 at First Assembly of God Church, 807 W. White St. Burnet, Texas 78611.

Elain was born on April 10, 1947 to Ira Lee and Melrose Sultemeier.  She attended and graduated from Johnson City High School in 1965.  Upon graduation, she started a career in the banking industry that lasted for 40 years.  She loved spending time with family, attending church activities, and loved spending time in prayer.

Elain is preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Sultemeier.

She is survived by her husband, Rusty Thurman Jr, and her daughter, Tammy Pace.
