Edwin "Lee" Coleman

Edwin (Lee) Coleman, 87, passed peacefully on April 27,2025.

Lee was born in Miami, Florida on July 3, 1937, to George and Wynonna Coleman. Lee was a proud United States Marine Corps 0311 Infantryman. He was a Texas Lawman and carried his peace officer badge in his wallet until his death. He was a big man, with a big personality, he made it a point to greet the people he loved as if he had not seen them in years.

His most treasured duty was loving and taking care of his wife Sharon Witcher Coleman, and he was good at his duty.

Funeral services will be held at Jenkins Funeral Home at 109 North Main St. in Burnet, Texas. Service will be conducted at 11:30 am Sunday May 4, 2025.

Visitation will begin at 9:30. Internment with full military honors will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park 4219 Park Road South Burnet, Texas 78611
