Earl Eugene Riley

Earl (Bubba) Eugene Riley, Jr. was born on September 30, 1969, in Mesquite Texas and died on August 28, 2024, in Burnet Texas.

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Marilyn and Earl (Gene) Eugene Riley, Sr., as well as grandparents, Opal & W.W. Penney and Eulala & Hugh Riley.

Bubba is survived by his sisters Sunny Hall of Burnet, Shannon Riley of Brownwood and Sherri Dement & husband Allan of Austin. Bubba is also survived by his nieces, Nicole Scott, Saylor Dement along with nephews Devin Riley, Riley Hall, Sloan Hall, Hunter Dement and great nieces and nephews, Ava Aguilar, Axton Aguilar and Everett Wade Hall.

Earl “Bubba” was raised in Burnet, and then lived most of his adult life in Austin and then San Antonio.

Earl “Bubba” has always loved being an uncle and tried to stay in the loop about what was going on with his nieces and nephews. He was definitely the “Funcle”. Bubba had a witty sense of humor and a smart mouth, but a sweet soul. Bubba will be missed and we will all strive to keep his memory alive.

A celebration of Bubba’s life will be held in San Antonio (which he loved) on his birthday, September 30, 2024.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
