Doris Glimp Lewis

Doris Glimp Lewis, 95, passed away on June 22, 2025.

A private graveside service is to be held with interment at Bethel Cemetery, Burnet, Texas on June24, 2025.

Doris Lewis was born on April 3,1930 to Morris Glimp and Ona Glimp in Burnet, Texas.  She graduated from Bertram High School and Arizona State University. She had a career as a homemaker, teacher, business manager, and was elected as the Burnet County Tax Collector.  She was married to Calvin Austin Lewis for 71 years and together they had two children.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Doris is survived by her son, Curtis L. Lewis (Debbie), and daughter, Diane Lewis Mullens (David); grandchildren, Amanda Mullens Weaver Cody), Adam Lewis (Teagen), Christina Mullens Perez (Jeff), Grace Lewis Mobbs (Chase); and great grandchildren, Hanna Weaver, Evelyn Lewis, Kynlee Perez, Michael Lewis, McCray Perez, and Laiklyn Perez
