With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Dawson Lane Heuss, born January 29, 2024, Marble Falls, TX. He left this world on October 21, 2024, at his home surrounded by love.
Dawson was the cherished son of Zachary and Stacie Heuss of Burnet. He brought immeasurable joy to his family, including his devoted sister, Harper Birdwell; his brothers, Landon Heuss of Burnet, Liam Biskamp of Fort Davis; and Gavin Robertson of Bertram. He was adored by his grandparents, Roy and Nancy Heuss of Burnet, and Ronny and Grace Nelson of Buchanan Dam, and will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Rowe.
Dawson was the perfect baby, always happy with bright blue eyes that sparkled with joy. His laughter and radiant spirit filled every room he entered. From the warmth of his family to the kindness of his favorite cashier at HEB, Dawson touched the hearts of many in his short time with us. This little one we longed for, was swiftly here and gone, but the love he planted will forever shine bright in our hearts.
A celebration of Dawson’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls on Tuesday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the No Kid Hungry charity, honoring Dawson’s spirit of love and compassion.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the first responders, nurses, doctors, family, friends, and the community for their support during this difficult time. Dawson Lane Heuss will be deeply missed and forever loved.
