Damian Wayne Knittel

Damian is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Brook Knittel, and his cherished children: son, Jude Knittel; daughters, Jordynn Knittel and Abigal Filek.  He is also survived by his father, Doug Knittel and wife Amy Knittel; his mother, LaDonia Lamb and her husband, Mike Lamb; his beloved grandmothers, Jerry Knittel and Donna Allison.

Damian leaves behind his sisters, Jayda Hamilton, Jessa Knittel, Tonya Wiliams, and Jennifer Williams; his brothers, Waylon Remmington, Soren Knittel, Tracin Knittel, and Alan Polasek.

He will also be deeply missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Judy, and his grandfather, Douglas Wayne Knittel.

Damian was a free spirit whose love and creativity touched everyone who knew him.  His passion for music was unmistakable, and he leaves behind a lasting gift in his voice – one that will continue to be heard, remembered, and sung along to by those who loved him.  He loved deeply and without hesitation, always willing to lend a hand or lift someone up in ther darker moments.  Damian’s life was full of light, talent, and unwavering determination.  He never gave up on his dreams, and in doing so, inspired so many to believe in themselves and follow their own paths.
