Dale Ross Faulkner, 80, passed away on December 16, 2025.
Dale was born on June 24, 1945, in Blythe, California to Charlie and Joicy Wright Faulkner, one of 9 children.
After graduating from Palo Verde Valley High School (1963) in Blythe, he honorably served his country with the US Airforce for four years. In 1966, Dale married the love of his life, Johanna Young Faulkner, and together they raised two sons.
Dale was known in the Burnet area through his business, Faulkner’s Airshop, located at the Burnet Municipal Airport (TX). Prior to that, he worked for the Del Rio Flying Service (TX) and at Executive Beechcraft in Gardner, Kansas.
Dale is survived by his wife, Johanna Faulkner, his sons Shawn Faulkner (wife Terry) and Blaine Faulkner (wife Julie), and his grandsons, Ryan and Tyler Faulkner. He is also survived by his brothers, Don Faulkner (wife Linda) and Gerald Faulkner (wife Lindell).
Per Dale’s wishes, a memorial service will not be held at this time. If you wish to honor him, it’s suggested to make a charitable donation to an organization of your choosing in his name.
