Craig Carlee French, 51, passed away July 3, 2023, lovingly surrounded by his family.
He was born January 17, 1972, in Beaumont, Texas, to John C. French, Sr., and Gail Koelemay French, and grew up in a wonderful neighborhood called Bevil Oaks. He attended Roy Guess Elementary, Austin Middle School, and graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School in 1990.
Craig was highly intelligent and could talk about a wide variety of subjects. He was his family's go-to person for all things electronic and had built an amazing computer for his daughter. Fishing was his favorite hobby and he enjoyed it most recently at Inks Lake. Craig's family especially loved his jolly personality and wit and his special way of getting away with saying what everyone else was just thinking. Craig loved his family deeply, and thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings.
Left to treasure the memory of Craig are his parents, Johnny and Gail of Burnet; his daughter, Ashley French of Burnet; his brother, John French, Jr. of Georgetown; and his sister, Debbie Riggs and her husband Kyle of Beaumont. His nieces and nephew and their families will also miss him greatly - Charli Gick, her husband Bruce, and daughters Pyper and Prestyn; Cyndi Danek, her husband Andrew, and son Cole; Macy Tatum, her husband Blair, and sons Jack and Jesse; and Karson Riggs, his wife Emily, and children Hudson and Amelia.
The family will have a private memorial gathering. Condolences may be sent to debbieriggs87@gmail.com. Memorial contributions may be made to:
