Clay Lee McCorkle, 38, passed away on October 27, 2020.
A Memorial Service will be a private event held at a later date.
Clay was born on October 29, 1982 to James and Lottie McCorkle. He was a leathersmith, enjoyed attending renaissance festivals, Star Wars, and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Ruth McCorkle of Burnet and Gary Stewart of Kaplan, La.
Clay is survived by his parents, James David and Lottie Stewart McCorkle; brothers, Darius Stewart and wife Lisa and James Lee McCorkle and his wife Valerie; nieces and nephews, Morgan Stewart, Madison Stewart, Travis Mabry, Trent Mabry, Alanna McCorkle, Jaymee McCorkle, James Allen McCorkle, and Heather Larson.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund ahs been established at Wells Fargo Bank in Burnet. Donations may also be made in Clay’s memory to the JDRF.org or childrenddiabetesfoundation.org.
Arrangements for Mr. McCorkle were handled under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
