Obituary
Cheryl Ruth Box Glaspy, 64, passed away on January 14, 2023.
Graveside services are planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Burnet.
Cheryl was born on July 2, 1958 in Artesia, NM to James Randolph and Joyce Parrish Box. She married James ”Mike” Glaspy and together they owned C & L Trucking. She and Mike raised one son, Clay, and she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, cruising, casinos, going camping, and the beach.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, James Randolph Box and Joyce Parrish Box; brothers, Jimmy Radell Box and JR Box.
She is survived by her husband, James “Mike” Glaspy; son, James “Clay” Glaspy and his wife Melissa; grandchildren, Madison Ashleigh Glaspy, Haley Seirra Glaspy, and James Patrick Glaspy; sister, Terri Ranett Richards and her husband Bill of Stephenville, TX; niece and nephews, Ashlyn Box, Tony Box, and Randy Box.
