Carroll "CB" Buck, 88, passed away on March 20, 2022.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas. Family will receive friends just prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the day of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private with only immediate family attending at Warner Cemetery.
CB was born on April 7, 1933 in Bertram, TX to Sherman B. and Mary Williams Buck. He graduated Burnet High School in 1952 and attended Blinn Junior College and Lamar University. CB then served in the U. S. Army from 1953 to 1955. Upon his discharge from the Army, he worked for Texas U.S. Chemical from 1955-1983 and was the plant superintendent of Production. After retirement he was a rancher and worked at Grand Teton National Park. He also served as the Mayor Pro-tem with the City of Pine Forest
He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his family as well as traveling, restoring Mustangs, Broncos, and pickups. CB also loved little league and 4H with his sons. Most of all he preferred spending his free time with his family.
CB is preceded in death by his parents and a baby brother.
Survivors include his wife Billie Warner Buck; children, Greg Buck and his wife Sherry, Brent Buck and his wife Jana, and Anita Buck. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aaron Buck, Krystal Winkler, Sutton Buck, Cody Buck, Dylan Wilcox, and Sheldon Wilcox; five great grandchildren; brother, Terry Buck and his wife Jeanne and their daughter, Caitie Van Matre and her family; step-granddaughter, Sierra Cox.
