Brenda Kay Ricketson

Brenda Kay Ricketson, 64, passed away on February 6, 2021.

A funeral service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

A visitation is planned from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at the funeral home.

Brenda was born on May 1, 1956 to Herbert Franklin and Billie Jean Posey in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work.  She retired as Executive Director of Community Care Inc. after 37 years.  She loved traveling, spending time with her grandkids, crafting and helping others.

She is predeceased by her mother, Billie Jean Posey and her brother, Herbert Franklin Posey Jr.

She is survived by her father, Herbert Franklin Posey Sr; son, Kyle Ricketson and his wife Shani’; son, Sean Ricketson and his wife Keri; grandchildren, Lucas Ricketson, Tyler Ricketson, Tiffany Ricketson, and Kyleigh Ricketson; sister, Deborah Jean Capps.
