Bonnie Lovett, lovingly known as “Granny,” passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on March 8, 1949, in Austin, Texas, to Willie Lois Hill and Roland Hill.
Throughout her life, Bonnie held many professions, but nothing brought her greater joy or fulfillment than being a homemaker. Creating a warm, loving home for her family was her greatest pride and purpose. She was deeply devoted to those she loved and found her happiness in caring for others.
Bonnie was happily married to the love of her life, Pete Lovett, until his tragic passing in 1993. She spent her remaining years holding him close in her heart while surrounding herself with family, which always meant everything to her. Her home and her heart were always open.
She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unconditional love.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lois and Roland Hill; her beloved husband, Pete Lovett; her sister, Vickie Hill; and her brother, Dewayne Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Taylor and husband Nathan Taylor; her son, Richard Schneider; her siblings, Tammy Patterson and husband Robert Patterson, Bruce Hill and wife Cindy Hill, and Charles Clay and wife Laurena Clay. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Tiffany Thielepape, Laura Thielepape, Jared Tisdel, Jadyn Thielepape and wife Regan Thielepape; her great-grandchildren Lakyn Thielepape; and her favorite person in all the world, Maverick Phillips. Bonnie is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Bonnie’s love lives on through the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
