Billy Joe Everett

Billy Joe Everett, 85, passed away on April 3, 2022.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Smithwick Cemetery, Smithwick, Texas.  Officiating will be Michael D. Everett, Jr.

Billy was born on October 12, 1936 in Burnet, Texas to Winston and Lena Everett.  He attended and graduated from Burnet High School and worked in the Burnet area as an equipment operator.  Billy married the love of his life, Shiron, and together they raised their family in Burnet.

Along with spending time with his family, Billy loved to hunt.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shiron Everett; parents, Winston and Lena Everett.

Billy is survived by: son, Michael D. Everett and wife Lana; son, Ken Everett and wife Michelle; son, Darren W. Everett; daughter, Sheri Waggoner; grandchildren, Amber Clark, Michael Everett, Shanel Waggoner, and James Schofell; nine great grandchildren; brother, William Everett and sister, Penny Payne.
