Avery Lynn Carter, age 5, of Bulverde, Texas, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Marble Falls, Texas. Born on September 1, 2020, in Austin, Texas, Avery brought immeasurable joy, laughter and love to everyone blessed to know her during her short but beautiful life.  

Avery was a bright and happy little girl who loved singing, dancing, swimming, drawing and playing with her friends. Her sweet smile, playful spirit and loving heart could light up any room and she gave the best hugs. Though her time on earth was far too brief, the memories she created with her family will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her loving parents, Robert Carter and Kerry Lee Carter, and her brother, Kaleb Carter. Avery also leaves behind many family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, her aunt Roxanne and her cousin Ashlynn.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on May 23 at Hill Country Fellowship in Burnet, TX, followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow.

Though Avery’s life was only beginning, the love she gave and the happiness she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her forever.
