Anthony M. Morale (Tony), 76, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones on Monday, February 17, 2020 after a courageous battle against lung cancer.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 708 Bessemer Ave, Llano, TX 78643.
Tony was born on August 18, 1943 in Austin, Texas to Ysidoro and Santos Morales. He was the only son and is survived by his six sisters. Tony attended Llano Schools and then enlisted into the United States Marine Corp where he served three tours in Vietnam. Tony married Pauline Luczon and had three wonderful sons, Tony Jr, Terry, and Troy Morales; all residents of California. He later moved back to Texas and married Linda Copeland. Tony was employed by Guard Texas and worked in numerous locations. Tony loved all sports and in his later years received many awards and medals in the Senior Olympics. He competed in baseball, bowling, tennis, all track and field events, and swimming. Tony also enjoyed volunteer work and projects with children.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Copeland and his parents.
Tony is survived by his three sons, Tony Jr and his wife Denise, Terry and his wife Janice, Troy and his wife Julie; sisters, Minnie Gonzales, Josie Najar and her husband Bobby, Della Newman, Lenora and her husband Paul, Lucy Rodriguez, and Barb Castro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and loved ones.
Tony’s family requests, in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, St, Judes Cancer Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
