On September 5th 2025 our dear mother Annie Belle Littrell Bardeleben was called home at the age of 87. Annie Belle was born in Lubbock Texas on January 5th 1938 to Mammie Pauline and Hugh Henderson Littrell. One hour after Annie Belle was born her mother passed away from pneumonia. She was cared for and raised by her grandmother Belle who she called Mama. At 9 years old.. Annie Belle attended Parkdale Baptist Church in Lubbock where she was saved and baptized. Since then Annie lived her life by faith, devoted to Christ and guided by the Holy Bible. She was a woman of unwavering belief and whose love for the Lord shone through every part of her life. She found joy and strength in prayer and scripture and peace in the promise of eternal life. She worked in nursing throughout her life and shared her faith, friendship and kindness with those she cared for. She would take friends to doctor appointments, church or grocery shopping. As a mother she taught her children to love, seve and trust in the Lord in all things.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mammie Pauline and Huey Littrell. Her grandmother, Belle Littrell, her husband Donald Bardeleben, daughters Aneice, Mammie Graham, Linda Johnson, Leema DeWitt, grandsons Timothy Graham and Joseph Bardeleben. Annie is survived by her children, Janice Gardner, Nancy Bardeleben, Joe Bardeleben, Edith Young, Robert Bardeleben and Tammy, Karen Pavlik and Gary. 11 Grandchildren, 21 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of her life will be on Thursday September 11th at 10:00 A.M, at Granite Mountain Baptist Church 500 FM 1980 in Marble Falls Tx, where she will be remembered in love by a host of dear friends and family. Burial will be at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville Tx.
2 Timothy 4:7 says I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Annie now rests in the arms of God, in his mighty presence and free from pain.
The family would like to thank her hospice nurse Melissa, her care-giver Faith and her sweet friend Kim who cleaned and sat and did Bible study with her.
