Virigina Irene Teaff

Virginia Irene Hargrove Teaff, 96, passed from this earth and stepped into Heaven on August 28, 2019.

A funeral service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Marble Falls, Texas with a private burial following.

She was born at Olney, Texas, on November 10, 1922.  She moved to Goree, Texas in 1929 from Ebert, Texas. She married James Royce Teaff at 1939 in Munday, Texas.  At one point, they lived in Talent, Oregon.  They moved to Bula, Texas in 1947 where Royce was a farmer. M They were married for sixty-seven years.

Irene worked at Plains Egg Producers in Littlefield, Texas for nearly eighteen years. For around three years she worked for the USDA as a Federal State Grader/Supervisor. She loved to roller skate and did as long as there was a skating rink around.

She moved to Marble Falls in 2007 and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Copeland Sunday School class.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, James Royce Teaff; five sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Teaff and wife Margaret; daughter, Cheryl Dianne Parker and husband Don; grandchildren, Laura Jean Weaver and husband Ricky, Bobbi Murphy, Jeremy Murphy; great grandchildren, Haley Burg and husband Miles, Spin Thurman, Brady Claiborne, Jeremy Murphy, Skylor Murphy, Damien Murphy; great great grandchildren, Maddox Burg and Elijah Murphy.

The family would like to thank Sandy Hulsey, who was her devoted caregiver and special friend.
