Steve Raymond Shaffer, 56, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019.

Steve Raymond Shaffer, known as Stevie Ray to his friends, passed away on August 17, 2019.

A Celebration of Life is planned for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Hope House Family Life Center, 700 Janet Dr., Burnet, TX 78611.

Steve was born on December 29, 1962 in Denver, Colorado. He worked for many years as a Boat Mechanic in Bertram, Texas. He enjoyed many hobbies including racing, fishing, hunting, disc golf, hot rods and watercraft, firearms, barbequing. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Heard.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Shaffer; sons, Hunter Shaffer and Dylan Shaffer; grandchildren, Jaxson, Levi and Liam; sister, Andrea Ramirez and brother, Bill Shaffer.
